Take A Virtual Tour Of Porsche’s Booth At The Beijing Auto Show

While motor shows remain nothing but a distant memory in Europe and North America, they have resumed in China and the ongoing Beijing Auto Show has hosted dozens of debuts for all-new cars, many of which are EVs. Porsche also has a prominent presence at the event.
If you don’t live in China but want to check out the automaker’s stand in Beijing, Porsche has launched a dedicated website that allows you to explore its Beijing stand in the virtual world. The website works on both PC and on smartphones and is quite realistic.

On display at the stand are a Porsche 718 Cayman, Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe, Panamera Turbo S, Taycan Turbo S, Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, and a 911 Targa 4. Not only can you walk around the stand in the virtual world but you can click on any of the cars on display and take a close tour of them. The website also provides key technical specifications about each model.
“For companies like Porsche in particular, there is no substitute for experiencing a product live – whether that is by driving a car or seeing it at a motor show,” director of experiential marketing at Porsche, Ragnar Schulte, said in a statement about the virtual display. “However, the possibilities for such direct contact are still limited in many regions of the world. With the virtual exhibition stand, we have created a novel way of experiencing the brand by using a mobile device – whether you are in Beijing or thousands of kilometers away.”
