Stock Market Opening Bell Today: On account of strong global cues following the Wal Street rally yesterday, the Indian indices opened in the green zone in the opening bell today. The BSE Senssex skyrocketed 387 points and touched 36,940 mark while the 50-stocks NSE Nifty shot up 124 points and hit 10,930 levels. Bank Nifty index soared 193 points and hit 20,650 mark.
Speaking on the current stocki market trends Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi said, “Day support zone on Nifty is 10,650-10,775 and the day higher range is 11,000-11,075 while support range on Bank Nifty is 20,050-20,300 and the day higher range is 20,800-20,950. The small day range for trading on Nifty is 10,800-10,950, while the medium and bigger day range is 10,775-11,000 and 10,700-11,025, respectively.” The Market Guru went on to add that the small day range for trading on Bank Nifty is 20,400-20,800, while the medium and bigger day range is 20,300-20,950 and 20,050-21,150, respectively.

Shares of Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Tata Consultancy Services or TCS, Hindalco Industries, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel were among the leading gainers in the opening bell today while shares of ICICI Pru Life, Central Bank, Indian Bank, ICICI Securities, KNR Constructions, Alkem Laboratories and Union Bank of India were among the major losers in the opening bell trade session.
Among major Asian markets, the Japanese Nikkei scaled up 0.45 per cent, south Korean Kospi went up 0.64 per cent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng went off 0.21 per cent while the Shanghai index lost 0.24 per cent in the opening bell today.
At Wall Stret yesterday, Dow Jones added 0.20 per cent, Nasdaq went up 0.37 per cent, S&P 500 index scaled up 0.30 per cent while Small Cap 2000 rose 0.23 per cent.
