Motorpoint is opening a used car dealership in Stockton-On-Tees in mid-December on an ex-Jennings Ford dealership.
The independent dealer, which has a network of branches throughout England, Scotland and Wales, is set to open the doors to its branch on Friday, December 18 following a multi-million pound investment in the five-acre site with space for 500 cars.
Richard Start, general manager at Motorpoint Stockton-On-Tees, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing the Motorpoint brand to Teesside in time for Christmas and look forward, together with the new team, to giving car buyers throughout Stockton-On-Tees and the surrounding area some early festive cheer with our award-winning combination of choice, value and service.”
Motorpoint was established in 1998. It operates from locations in Birmingham, Birtley, Burnley, Castleford, Chingford, Derby, Glasgow, Newport, Oldbury, Peterborough, Sheffield, Swansea and Widnes. It also operates a UK based call centre based in Derby
Motorpoint employs over 800 people nationwide. Motorpoint has made contactless collection standard procedure in light of COVID-19. This facility allows customers to adhere to the latest social distancing guidelines and choose, buy, and drive away without any physical contact with a member of staff.
This includes Motorpoint’s Unaccompanied Test Drive offering where customers can test drive their chosen vehicle without someone from Motorpoint being present in the car.
