How are the auto sales reflecting in the month of September and peak festive season? [Video]

Auto sales momentum continues in the month of September as well on the back of inventory build-up ahead of peak festive season, gradual resumption of the supply chain, and heightened preference for personal mobility. Continued rural uptick with key macroeconomic indicators going strong and improved retail finance aids tractor demand. Most OEMs have managed to deliver strong volumes for the month gone by. Market leader Maruti continues its improvement for the fourth straight month, 2W giant Hero MotoCorp witnesses best sales so far this year, while Escorts and M&M continue to remain optimistic about the strong tractor demand in times to come as well.
Tata Motors (TaMo) – which started reporting volumes quarterly – also saw strong improvement YoY in the PV segment owing to the sale of 21,199 units last month.
